Yoga, Meditation & Embodied Dance- A Special Workshop with Nicole Porter at Spirit Yoga, Sep 19, 2016

Yoga means to “yoke”, to bring together the body and mind into our natural state of union, or to be more accurate, to remember the union we already are. In this workshop, we will be working with the body and mind experientially through meditation, yoga asana and embodied dance/moving meditation. Through these modalities we will be exploring some basic yogic philosophical points to come into a greater understanding of the depth of yoga, and our own natural state of union and presence.

This workshop is suitable for beginners and all levels of experience. It is also suitable for yoga teachers who wish to go deeper into their experience and understanding of meditation and the deeper aspects of yoga. Nicole is a certified yoga teacher, who has also had very deep long term meditation, mindfulness and embodied dance practices for the last 15 years. She is very excited to bring this workshop to you, which combines all her loves of yoga, philosophy, meditation and embodied dance.
